Child Assessments
Child assessments are conducted in a structured and impartial manner, aimed at understanding the child's emotional and behavioural presentation within their broader context. Depending on the child's needs, the assessment may cover:
- Developmental milestones
- Experiences at home
- Relationships with and experiences of parents and siblings
- Experience of the parents' relationship
- Relationships with friends and significant others
- Relationships in which the child reports discomfort
- Attachment
- Screening for possible traumatic experiences
- Experiences at school
